OBN& Global Services: Awarded Most Innovative Firm for 2023

At OBN& we are very proud to share with you that we had the honour to be awarded this October and November from ProDespachos and the prestigious Spanish magazine Emprendedores, which recognise our work as a leading and innovative firm. The events took place on October 25th at Casa Seat (Barcelona) and on November 14th at the Luchana Theater (Madrid).

OBN& GLOBAL SERVICES

There is a mantra among entrepreneurs that a business idea cannot come from a Google search, however, our Global Services department contradicts (in part) that statement, because most of our services were born because one of our founding partners, Samuel Lorente, identified a significant increase in Google searches related to foreign companies wanting to set up in Spain.

OBN& Global Services was established in 2021 and currently consists of a team of 15 people. We have worked with clients from the UK, USA, Mexico, India, Singapore, Northern European countries and even Australia where companies are looking for other places to invest or open a new business.

At OBN& we are convinced that the digitalisation of companies is a process that forces you, among other things, to develop online marketing strategies. However, many firms are currently not digitalized, even though digitalisation is not only a competitive advantage, it is also the best way to break down borders and provide our clients with a better service.

Professional Practice Innovation Awards 2023

The event was held on 25 October at the Casa Seat in Barcelona and on 14 November at the Teatro Luchana in Madrid, and was attended by numerous professionals from the consultancy and professional services sector. The awards, as every year, were organised by ProDespachos, Amado Consultores and Emprendedores magazine.

Attendees highlighted the need to apply innovation in the industry, attract and retain talent and open new lines of business to adapt to the needs of customers.

OBN&, was awarded for the most innovative solution or service in the professional services sector. The award-winning service comes from Global Services, our department focused on making it easier for foreign entrepreneurs and businesses to set up a company in Spain, based on four fundamental elements:

• A softlanding service for foreign companies looking to set up in Spain.
• Accompanying clients in strategic corporate operations.
• Programmes to find opportunities for Investment Funds.
• Continuous support in the fulfilment of obligations in Spain.

Samuel Lorente and Mario Oller received the award and explained why they chose foreign companies wishing to set up in Spain:

"Out of necessity we detected that the number of foreign companies setting up in Spain was increasing. We opted for this segment because we saw growth in it, there is no denying that the fees are better and because Barcelona is attractive and offers us a complementary advantage".
